10 Years Together

Recently, I had the opportunity to photography a vow renewal of a couple who have been together for 10 years.  She was really excited about getting dressed and seeing her husband for the ceremony.  I arrived early to scout the location and began with details.  My goals was to shoot the rings and important items with the theme in mind.  Since the event was taking place in the country and had a rustic feel, I took advantage of a few bails of hay stacked.  They were perfect for shooting with the macro lens.

I was able to capture a few getting ready shots for the bride.  Her make up had a natural tone with a pop of color for the eyes and lips.  During the ceremony, the harsh summer sun came down, but everyone was prepared for the heat.  The bride was escorted by her uncle to represent her late father.  Everyone had fun and mentioned the journey they had to reach ten years.
