I met Marissa a while back and adopted her as my little sister.  She continues to inspire those around her and is an exceptional student.  She represents Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in many leadership capacities.  Leading into the shoot I stopped by Marissa's home as she finished her hair and makeup.  She told me about an awesome location near campus.  Once we arrived at the location we scouted the best places to shoot.  The first one I fell in love with due its earthy feel.  I shot with my Nikon D500, 70-200mm lens, and 35mm lens.  Using the Profoto B1 allowed me to have more control over lighting the environment with high speed sync.  The first few shots straight of camera looked amazing.  From there I was more motivated even more and Marissa gave me attitude and poses.  We had fun throughout the shoot and I wish the very best in her future endeavors.

Below you'll see some shots from the shoot.
